Taunton Open Door, based on Mount Street, is appealing to businesses for donated time, skills, or materials to improve its centre, which provides a safe and welcoming space for people experiencing homelessness. The building has supported the charity’s work for many years but is now showing signs of wear and tear. Taunton Open Door said: "We're looking for local businesses who would be willing to donate their time, skills, or materials to help give Taunton Open Door a much-needed refresh. "Your support could make a real difference to the environment we provide for some of the most vulnerable people in our community." The charity is seeking help from painters, decorators, builders, or anyone else able to contribute.
