Years before the days of the Bel Canto, the Twelve and the Loco, Christopher Ward was known mainly for its Trident dive watch. Notably, the brand’s flagship, with its wave-textured dial, was frequently cited as an affordable alternative to the iconic Omega Seamaster Diver 300M. The Trident, meanwhile, largely stands on its own four lugs these days as an original (and very attractive) design. But a new limited edition feels more like the CW of old, with a design trait borrowed from its old pal, Omega. Here, the color used for these aluminum bits is teal, which is also used for the Aquaflex rubber strap and dial.
