BLOOMINGTON – The City of Bloomington’s Safety Week will run August 22-28 as part of the ongoing Safe Streets and Roads for All Action Plan – an initiative to improve transportation options and create a safer and more accessible Bloomington.
Safety Week features a series of events designed to gather resident feedback, foster community collaboration, and gather community members together.
Participants will meet others, explore comfortable bike routes around Bloomington, and enjoy a community ride starting and ending on IU’s campus.

Thursday, Aug. 27, from 5 to 7 p.m.: Kidical Mass: Back to School Bike Ride and Celebration — a back-to-school bike celebration featuring treats, games, helmet decoration, bike-blended smoothies, and more before a family-friendly guided bike ride around the Bryan Park neighborhood.
