The “No-KYC” Crypto Card Loophole Runs Through Five American BanksEnglish 日本語한국어繁體中文ไทยPortuguêsItalianoDeutschFrançaisEspañolServices openly advertising “no KYC” crypto spending cards are not bypassing the American banking system. A Fintech Business Weekly investigation traced the bank identification numbers on reviewed no-KYC card services to five US financial institutions: Fifth Third Bank, The Central Trust Bank, Column, Regions Bank, and Sutton Bank. Sutton Bank has operated under an FDIC consent order since February 2024 over BSA/AML compliance deficiencies and third-party risk-management failures. Bitsika CEO Atsu Davoh told Fintech Business Weekly the Iran marketing page “may be a mishap or miscommunication from the content team.” That change would close the gap between KYB and KYC that no-KYC services currently occupy.
