Special to the American PressThe Calcasieu Parish Police Jury Mosquito Control is partnering with the United States Air Force and Chennault International Airport Authority to launch an aerial mosquito control operation. “Chennault is proud to partner with Calcasieu Parish Mosquito Control and the U.S. Air Force to support this important operation,” said USAF Retired Col. and Chennault Executive Director Kevin Melton. With the Air Force C-130, we are bringing another aerial asset to our community, which is pretty cool for those who love aviation. It supports valuable training opportunities for our Airmen while delivering a direct benefit to the people of Calcasieu Parish.” Residents may see and hear low-flying Air Force C-130H aircraft as they travel and conduct mosquito control spraying operations.
