(Candice Stilwell/Madras Pioneer)Three new businesses are open and welcoming customers in a new Madras business park at Northwest Cherry and Highway 26. “We are excited to welcome new companies to Eagle Ridge Business Park and the jobs they will bring to our community,” said Marty Fleck, owner of Eagle Ridge Business Park. Eagle Ridge Business Park was made possible through a $250,000 grant from Jefferson County’s Economic Development for Central Oregon and $750,000 through an economic development program run by the State of Oregon. Penelope’s Soaps and SuchPenelope’s Soaps and Such has recently celebrated its five-year anniversary at the storefront in Madras but will now be moving all operations and the storefront to the Eagle Ridge Business Park. In total, those three businesses take up the entire space of the Eagle Ridge Business Park.
