The Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2026, introduced in Lok Sabha, has been opposed by Christian groups and the Opposition parties.
Essentially, this means: “The Bill provides that cessation of an FCRA certificate will lead to loss of assets.”
The Indian bill has attracted an unusual amount of attention from American lawmakers, who have openly complained about a matter that absolutely does not concern them.
