One person was taken to hospital following a single-vehicle collision on the 401 in the Tilbury area. Elgin OPP say the westbound lanes were reduced for several hours this morning near Merlin Road after a transport crashed into the centre median. Authorities say the driver was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. There is no word yet on what caused the crash or whether any charges will be laid.
