July 4th marked the first anniversary of the Working Families Tax Cuts being signed into law. This landmark legislation extended the 2017 Trump Tax Cuts, all while preventing the largest tax hike in American history. Without Republicans passing the Working Families Tax Cuts, families in Texas-11 would have faced a 26% tax increase. In addition to stopping a devastating tax hike, we fought for no tax on tips or overtime, enhanced the child tax credit, created the Rural Health Transformation Program, and much more. The record is clear that Republicans are working to make life affordable for American families, not Democrats.
