Nagasaki boss indicted for beating employee with desk lamp, forcing man to climb power pole nakedNAGASAKI (TR) – Prosecutors in Nagasaki City have indicted a 41-year-old waterproofing contractor for violently assaulting an employee who attempted to quit his job, including beating him over the head with a desk lamp, reports Nagasaki TV (Aug. 5).
Takaya Uchino was formally charged with inflicting bodily injury by the Nagasaki District Public Prosecutors Office on August 5.
After the victim fell to the floor, Uchino stomped on his face several times before striking him in the head with a desk lamp, leaving him injured.
Uchino’s wife had initially been arrested and referred to prosecutors as an accomplice in the brutal beating.
Prosecutors confirmed that charges against Uchino’s wife regarding the utility pole incident have also been dropped.
