Licences restricted for Perthshire and Angus estates after ‘wildlife crimes’ against birds
['Lucy Scarlett']
The Courier
Two estates in Angus and Perthshire have had their licences to control common birds restricted due to “wildlife crimes.”
NatureScot has restricted the general licences of Invermark Estate near Glenesk and Drimmie Estate near Bridge of Cally.
This decision was made following evidence supplied by Police Scotland of wildlife crime against birds.

“We will continue to work closely with Police Scotland and consider information they provide on cases which may warrant restricting general licences.”
