The Delta Dunklin Democrat is making several staffing and operational changes aimed at strengthening local coverage and establishing a more sustainable path forward for the newspaper. As of Thursday, Aug. 6, general manager Jeff Dorris and advertising representative Katie Green are no longer with the newspaper. Kaelin Triggs will continue serving as the DDD’s local sports reporter while also contributing additional local news coverage. DeAnna Nelson, general manager of the Standard-Democrat in Sikeston, will serve as interim general manager of the DDD. Beginning Monday, Aug. 10, the DDD office hours will change slightly.
