Jeffrey Manke and his ex-wife, Lindsay Lewandowski, had finalized their divorce just hours before he and their two daughters, Jaelyn Manke and Lenora Manke, were found dead at his home in Winneconne, Wisconsin. According to court hearing notes viewed by Us, Jeffrey, 57, and Lewandowski were at constant odds over custody after she filed for divorce in 2024. Both Jeffrey and Lewandowski agreed to pay debts in their own names and their joint debts were divided among them. Jeffrey disputed Lewandowski’s claims and argued the court could not “change placement without input from the guardian ad litem.” The court ultimately ordered Jeffrey to give 48 hours notice if he was unable to have the children during his placement time.
