Community expo offers health and school supportThe Jamaican Canadian Association (JCA) is inviting individuals and families from across the Greater Toronto Area to attend its Stress-Free Saturday Health, Wellness & Back-to-School Community Expo on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Jamaican Canadian Centre, 995 Arrow Road, Toronto. Held under the theme “Healthy Families, Strong Communities, Bright Futures,” this free community event will bring together healthcare providers, community organizations, government agencies, and cultural partners to promote healthy living, disease prevention, education, and family well-being in an engaging and welcoming environment. The Expo will offer a wide range of free health services and educational opportunities, including Blood pressure and blood glucose screening, Mental health and wellness resources, Nutrition and healthy eating information, Cooking demonstrations, genCARE Research Project information, school supplies and kids activities.
