Twelve clubs have been drawn into four groups for the 2026 Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, Nationwide Championship, DAILY POST reports. The tournament will produce two teams for promotion to the 2027 NWFL Championship. Group A features Kwara United Queens, Solo Wonders Babes, and Spunky Blazers FA. Group D is made up of Plateau United Queens, Obosa Football Academy and Osklean FC. The NWFL Nationwide is the third tier of women’s football in Nigeria and serves as the pathway to the NWFL Championship and ultimately the NWFL.
