Okhiria alleged that despite court orders, CCETC has continued to engage in several vexatious activities in deliberate disregard of the orders of the Federal High Court, Abuja, and the Edo State High Court, Benin City. He insisted that CCETC and Ossiomo Power Company are in the Federal High Court, Abuja, and the Edo State High Court, Benin City, which had made orders for status quo ante. According to him, Ossiomo Power Company further disclosed that despite the court orders, CCETC has formed the habit of disobeying the court orders; hence, as a disciplined and law-abiding entity, Ossiomo Power Company has decided to drag CCETC to court for violating the orders. “CCETC has been restrained by the Edo State High Court as well as the Federal High Court, Abuja, from tampering with these facilities. He explained that the power company reaffirmed its commitment to resolving the dispute through appropriate legal and regulatory channels.
