MTN Uganda flags off 21 Days of Y’ello Care campaign

from HASSAN ONYANGO in Kampala, UgandaUganda BureauKAMPALA, (CAJ News) – MTN has kicked off its 21 Days of Y’ello Care campaign in Uganda, with a focus on healthcare.
“Over the next 21 days, we’ll be taking action, building partnerships and creating lasting impact for mothers, children and families across Uganda,” the telecommunications company stated.
Leveraging its core strengths, MTN Uganda is equipping health workers with electronic medical records training, boosting digital literacy for village health teams and offering financial literacy through MTN MoMo to build household resilience.
Dr Charles Ayume, Minister of State for Health, welcomed the initiative by MTN Uganda.
The 21 Days of Y’ello Care is MTN’s flagship employee volunteerism and corporate social responsibility initiative, bringing together staff across Africa to dedicate 21 days of service, skills and resources to addressing pressing community needs.
