Fermanagh postal delays continue to cause problems
['Annie Flynn']
The Fermanagh Herald
POSTAL delivery problems across Fermanagh are continuing, with one local man travelling to Derry for a hospital appointment he did not know had been cancelled.
He said he and his neighbours had experienced serious problems with letter deliveries, claiming a card he posted from Derrylin to Teemore took five weeks to arrive.
AdvertisementThe man also reported receiving incorrectly addressed post, including an appointment letter intended for a village on the other side of the county.
Concerns over delayed and missing post have been ongoin , with residents previously reporting that important correspondence had arrived after appointment dates or with little time to arrange transport.
For example, another local family awaiting hospital appointments described the situation as “incredibly worrying” after receiving no post for five days.
