Russian attacks killed at least nine people and injured 89 others across Ukraine over the past day, while Dnipropetrovsk Oblast came under attack nearly 80 times, local authorities said on Aug. 7.
Russian forces killed five people and injured 16 others over the past day in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in southeastern Ukraine, a region that remained deep behind the front lines until July last year.
In Kharkiv Oblast, Russian forces killed two men and injured 11 others in the city of Lozova, while seven more people were injured elsewhere across the region, Governor Oleh Syniehubov said.
In Donetsk Oblast, Russian attacks killed one person in Bilenke and injured five others elsewhere in the region, Governor Vadym Filashkin said.
In Sumy Oblast, eight people suffered injuries in Russian strikes over the past day, according to the local military administration.
