Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has advised students to remain focused on their studies, saying education is the only enduring path to success and warning that "noise and unrest" can never build a meaningful career.
While attending a government programme here on Friday, the Chief Minister appealed to students to make the most of their academic years, describing them as the most crucial phase of life that would never return.
"There may be noise and unrest, but that will not build a career," he said, stressing that students should stay committed to learning rather than getting drawn into issues that could derail their academic journey.
Appealing directly to students, he said they should remember that their school and college years are a one-time opportunity.
Emphasising discipline and dedication, he said students should devote themselves wholeheartedly to learning, as education opens doors to hope, opportunity and long-term success.
