Patna: Political activity within the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has intensified following the dissolution of all party committees across Bihar. Amid the organisational overhaul, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s daughter, Rohini Acharya, has welcomed the decision and advised party leader Tejashwi Yadav on forming the new organisational structure. In a social media post on Friday, Singapore‑based Rohini Acharya said the decision to dissolve all RJD organisational units and cells should have been taken much earlier. She urged the party leadership to give priority to veteran leaders, dedicated workers and committed supporters of Lalu Prasad Yadav while constituting the new committees. Rohini said Lalu Prasad Yadav had always worked for the social, economic and political empowerment of marginalised sections of society and had consistently valued party workers.
