Mangaluru: Vishwa Hindu Parishad International President Alok Kumar declared the organisation’s intention to start a countrywide campaign aimed at transferring Hindu temples currently under government administration back into the hands of devotees and the Hindu community.
The Temple Freedom Movement is scheduled for stronger nationwide activity in 2026.
Regarding the alleged donation irregularities connected with the Ayodhya Ram Temple, Kumar pointed out that the temple trust had accepted the reported failings, registered an FIR voluntarily and asked for an SIT inquiry.
He predicted that both society and devotees would react suitably when the next elections arrive.
He also claimed that Left-wing organisations had taken part in a recent protest held at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi.
