Khader on Friday urged young job seekers to continuously upgrade their skills, build strong professional networks and responsibly embrace artificial intelligence (AI) to remain relevant in a rapidly evolving job market. Inaugurating the 16th edition of Alva’s Pragati 2026, billed as one of the country’s largest job fairs, at Dr V.S. Acharya Hall in Vidyagiri, Moodbidri, Khader said academic qualifications alone were no longer sufficient to secure long-term career success. Presiding over the event, Moodbidri MLA Umanath A. Kotian said the steady growth of Alva’s Pragati had created a sustainable platform benefiting both employers and job seekers. A total of 326 companies participated, and 13,016 job seekers attended the first day of the two-day event.
