The three‑day closure will allow new electricity supply works to take place, with traffic diverted via the A4175, A4174, A420 and unaffected sections of the A4017. From August 24, surfacing works will see overnight closures on the A46 Stroud Road and A433 Tetbury Road at Hawkesbury Upton. Both schemes are expected to last only a few days, with local diversions signed. Whittucks Road in Hanham will also shut for two days from August 26 between High Street and Whittucks Close for fibre works, with traffic diverted via Memorial Road and High Street.
