Peter McKeown, 29, performed life-saving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on Jean Forde, 75, after she went into cardiac arrest on July 31. On Thursday (August 6), Peter went to visit Mrs Forde, who is from Caernarfon and was on a family day out in Rhyl on July 31, in Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor. Her husband explained who I was to her, and that I had saved her life, but she has no memory of it. “Her family were extremely grateful - her husband wasn’t expecting me at all. He and his wife, Chelsea, were at Tim’s Coffee Lounge on Rhyl’s High Street with their daughter on July 31 when Mrs Forde went into cardiac arrest outside the premises.
