The Futura Learning Partnership, which runs 26 schools across the South West, achieved the feat during its Flourishing Futura Kindness Day with an impressive total of 38,527 acts of kindness. The previous world record stood at 19,000. Kirsty Jones, Headteacher of Yeo Moor Primary School in Clevedon said: "We are absolutely delighted to have more than doubled the previous world record for Random Acts of Kindness in a single day. Thousands of children and staff from schools across the South West have smashed the world record for Random Acts of Kindness after carrying out an incredible 38,527 good deeds in a single day. "In a world that can sometimes feel divided and unkind, this is a world record we are incredibly proud to have broken.
