Nigeria and Mali have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and deepening cooperation on issues of mutual interest. Dr Eze said the presentation was followed by bilateral discussions on ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries. During the meeting, Nigeria and Mali reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening diplomatic consultation mechanisms as part of efforts to promote a more productive and mutually beneficial South-South partnership. They further emphasised that stronger cooperation and sustained dialogue would contribute to addressing shared challenges and promoting sustainable development across the sub-region. The engagement between Ambassador Chima and Minister Diop reflects Nigeria and Mali’s shared interest in maintaining diplomatic dialogue and exploring areas of cooperation that can contribute to peace, security and development in West Africa.
