A man with a machete assaulted two people and an officer and was taken to a hospital for an evaluation, police said. Baltimore police said officers were called around 9:15 a.m. for a man who went to a hospital with cuts to his head. Police said officers found the armed man while he was assaulting a 55-year-old man on West Belvedere Avenue. During the arrest, the armed man also attacked an officer, who suffered minor injuries, police said.
