NAOMH Colmcille manager Packie Gallagher feels his side are back to ‘square one’ after a six-week lay-off heading into the Championship. The Newtown men haven’t played since taking on Naomh Brid on June 27, and Gallagher is expecting the intensity to have gone up considerably since then. “We’re probably like most other teams in that we have had a six-week break and that’s not ideal after the league. “Our four championship games are identical to where we played in the league. “Then we have Naomh Ultan at home and they are one of the top teams in the championship.
