At about 11.05am on Tuesday, July 21, a man wearing a balaclava used a tool to smash the front window of Pattons Jewellers on Bebington Road in New Ferry and stole jewellery from the display. Extensive CCTV and witness enquiries have been conducted, and detectives have issued an image of a man they believe could assist in their investigation.
