Susan Reece entered a guilty plea to one count of causing serious injury by careless or inconsiderate driving when she appeared before magistrates in August. The court heard that the 67-year-old had been behind the wheel of a Suzuki Swift when the incident took place on the A44 Bromyard Road in Bromyard on April 22. A man was seriously injured in the incident, during which Reece had been driving without due care and attention, Hereford magistrates heard. Reece was banned from driving for 12 months. She was also fined £395, ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a £158 victim surcharge.
