Hundreds of eager customers lined Gomond Street and Maylord Street today (August 7) ahead of the opening of the Danish brand Søstrene Grene in the former Argos unit. Some people still waiting in the queue to enter the city's newest shop said they have been waiting an hour to get a glimpse inside. (Image: Hereford Times)Dawn Hudd joked that she is "addicted" to the shops, having visited branches in Glasgow and France previously. Standing in the queue, she said she hoped to buy a butter dish at the opening, having bought one in Glasgow in June, but she wanted another to alternate. The company, which has nearly 400 shops spread across the EU, announced its expansion into the city in March.
