Delhi-NCR faced heavy rain disruption as flooded roads, traffic jams and waterlogging affected commuters, while IMD predicted rainfall intensity may reduce from Saturday. Delhi: Heavy rainfall lashed Delhi and neighbouring NCR areas on Friday, causing widespread waterlogging, traffic disruptions and inconvenience for commuters. Traffic movement was severely affected near Vayusena Bad, while locations including Okhla Mor, Sangam Vihar, Khanpur, Deoli and Ambedkar Nagar also reported heavy waterlogging. Commuters faced long delays as vehicles struggled through flooded roads, with several two-wheelers and auto-rickshaws reportedly breaking down. Several parts of NCR recorded heavy rainfall, adding pressure on drainage systems and civic authorities.
