Three temple committees in Kozhikode have joined hands to distribute relief kits to around 1,000 flood-affected households as families begin returning home. In a community-led relief effort, three temple committees have come together to distribute essential supplies to around 1,000 households affected by the flooding. A member of one of the temple committees said volunteers had been visiting affected homes to offer both support and immediate relief. The relief kits include bread, biscuits, drinking water and other basic necessities for families returning to their homes after the flooding. The one-day door-to-door distribution of the relief kits began on Wednesday evening, with volunteers visiting affected households across the area.
