Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev said that Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states need to strengthen joint efforts to ensure food security amid rising global food prices. He made the remarks at the 47th meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, held in Cholpon-Ata. According to Kasymaliev, current challenges require EAEU countries not only to analyze the situation but also to develop effective mechanisms for a rapid response. «One of these challenges is the rise in global food prices. The Cabinet Chairman stressed that the Eurasian Economic Commission should continue actively monitoring agricultural markets and forecasting potential shortages and price increases, taking into account information provided by EAEU member states.
