Until these procedures are completed, according to the Prime Minister, it is premature to talk about choosing between the EAEU and the European Union. He also emphasized that Armenia’s relations with the European Union currently contain no legal, economic, or political obligations that would conflict with the country’s membership in the EAEU. According to the head of the Armenian government, the Eurasian Economic Union should not become a «space of restrictions.»
