Its value on the National Bank’s balance sheet increased from 358 billion soms at the end of June 2025 to 551.2 billion soms as of June 30, 2026—an increase of more than 193 billion soms. At the same time, cash in hand, in banks, and in other financial institutions, by contrast, decreased almost in half—from 163.4 billion soms to 85.4 billion soms. The volume of debt securities issued by the National Bank also increased significantly, from 11 billion to 53.2 billion soms. At the end of the reporting period, the National Bank’s profit amounted to 41.5 billion soms, compared to 19.5 billion soms the year before. The National Bank’s total capital increased from 157.9 billion to 186.3 billion soms, while liabilities increased from 555.3 billion to 644 billion soms.
