Mumbai: Salman Khan’s Being Human Foundation and his sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri have been issued pre-cognisance notices by a Chandigarh district court in connection with a cheating complaint related to an alleged Rs 3 crore jewellery franchise investment.
The court has also issued notices to the directors of Style Quotient Jewellery Pvt Ltd, which was associated with the marketing of the Being Human jewellery brand.
As per the complaint, Gupta invested nearly Rs 3 crore after being offered an opportunity to operate a Being Human jewellery showroom.
The court has issued notices under the proviso to Section 223 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) at the pre-cognisance stage.
His sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri and the Being Human Foundation have also not issued any statement regarding the complaint.
