It sort of didn't hit me until the morning after that the Yankees didn't just pass on Adley Rutschman and Tyler Stephenson. That's why Campusano, a member of the Padres' catching rotation who's a free agent after the 2028 season, was certainly not available mid-breakout. ... the Yankees came up short on Campusano and likely didn't even have a chance to ask about him. The Yankees' cupboard of catching options was far more barren that it seemed like it would be. But Heim and Bart were standing right in front of them all along, and could've at least scratched the itch.
