Maher and Pullen have changed their LinkedIn pages to describe themselves as "FORMER Executive Vice Chairman" and "FORMER Vice Chairman." In March 2026, Griffin made the decision to remove Pullen from the Boston Capital Markets team. Though Maher argued that Griffin didn't have the authority to do so unilaterally under their agreement, Griffin went on to do it anyway. Following this, Maher said Griffin went out of his way to bar Maher from attending a client event in Montana. Pullen and Maher filed the lawsuit against their former employer and boss at the end of May.
