Quandary Peak is again one of the most popular ways to get high in Colorado.
The 14,272-foot peak south of Breckenridge drew an estimated 30,500 hikers last year, according to the 2025 hiker use report from Colorado Fourteeners Initiative.
Beating Quandary by about 500 hikers was Mount Bierstadt, at 14,066 feet on the Front Range, making it the busiest 14er in the state.
Construction on Mount Blue Sky, formerly Mount Evans, kept thousands of boots off the trail.
For decades Quandary Peak was listed at 14,265 feet.
