Hopkinsville Parks & Recreation will offer free yoga classes at 9 a.m. every Tuesday and Thursday, beginning Aug. 11, at the Thomas Street Recreation Center, 2600 Thomas St.
The classes, in a partnership with Balance Wellness, are designed for “all ages, abilities, and experience levels,” recreation officials said in a press release.
Both chair and mat yoga will be offered.
“The classes are offered free of charge as part of Hopkinsville Parks & Recreation’s ongoing commitment to providing healthy, inclusive recreational opportunities for the community.”
Recreation Superintendent Toby Hudson added, “We believe recreation is about creating opportunities for everyone to live healthier, happier lives.”
