GREENVILLE, N.Y. (WNYT) — State police say a Greenville house fire is now a homicide investigation and they are searching for an armed-and-dangerous man tied to the case. According to a New York State Police press release, troopers from the Greenville barracks responded about 7:30 p.m. Aug. 6 to a reported house fire on Greenville Turnpike in Greenville, Orange County. The preliminary investigation found the fire was deliberately set, and State Police are investigating the death as a homicide. Police said they are trying to find Thomas David Ryan, 32, of Greenville, in connection with the case. He was last seen near Greenville Turnpike wearing black sweatpants and a black T-shirt.
