Man jailed for sexually assaulting boy under the age of 10

Nathan Jones, of Hillside Crescent in Oxhey, was sentenced to two years and nine months in prison at St Albans Crown Court today (August 7), after previously being found guilty of sexually assaulting a child and causing a child to engage in sexual activity.
The 30-year-old was also handed a sexual harm prevention order, which prohibits any contact with a child under 16 for 10 years, and a 10-year restraining order preventing any contact with the victim.

The offences Jones was convicted of relate to incidents where he touched the child sexually and incited the child to touch his penis.
Jones was arrested and interviewed under caution at Hatfield Police Station in October 2023.
