Slidie Sliderson has recently applied for an alcohol licence. Plans for Slidie Sliderson were revealed more than a year ago when Rocafella Leisure Group announced it would be opening the slide park at Cockhedge Shopping Centre. It said that its newest venture, Slidie Sliderson, would deliver a high-energy entertainment experience for all ages, expected to draw 150,000 visitors annually. An opening date was set for February this year, but the month passed and the unit remained closed. In March, new owners of Cockhedge Shopping Centre, M Core, told the Warrington Guardian that Slidie Sliderson was set to open mid-May.
