David Clarke, 45, was discovered unresponsive at his home on Grasmere Avenue in Orford on June 7. An inquest was opened into his death at Cheshire Coroner’s Court in Warrington on Wednesday. It was heard during the opening that Mr Clarke’s neighbour attended his property following a call from his family who were concerned for his welfare. After the neighbour received no response at the property, the police were called and attended the home, where sadly the man’s body was discovered. The inquest was opened and adjourned until November 12, with a case review to be carried out on September 27.
