Founded in 2001, the North Central Health Care Foundation was originally established to furnish Parkland Place after Melfort’s new long-term care facility was approved for construction, said Executive Director Sarah Taylor.
“Our focus has always been, and continues to be, better health care close to home,” said Taylor.
The inaugural event raised more than $100,000, with the proceeds used to purchase new pediatric equipment and trauma care resources.
