Since returning to his family's estate as chief executive in 2016, Lord Townshend - better known as Tom - has diversified the traditional farming operation to include hospitality, glamping, retail and commercial property ventures, as well as a new private dining venue at The Copse.
During his opening address at the open day, he explained his ideas for the business units at Hall Farm, together with ambitious plans across the A1065 road for a food hub centred around a farm shop, restaurant, café and event space within the five-acre walled garden.
