Norwich Magistrates’ Court was told she had then veered into the path of a Citroen Picasso, seriously injuring driver John Howard and his wife Patrica. Mr Jessop said: "Her injuries were life-threatening and Mr Howard was told to not expect her to make it through the night. In a statement read in court Mr Howard said: "I will never forgive her actions that day. A statement from his daughter said the consequences of the crash had been "devastating" for her parents, adding: "Their lives will never be the same." Malcolm Plummer, mitigating, said she had taken her eyes off the road in a "momentary lapse" before the crash.
