CHELMSFORD — Authorities are investigating an early-morning house fire on Saturday that left two men dead. “This is a very sad day for our community and especially for the two families who lost loved ones,” Chelmsford Fire Chief Gary Ryan said in a press release about the blaze. An engine company, already nearby on an unrelated call, arrived within moments to find flames at both the front and rear of the home. They pulled two men from the burning home, but both were pronounced dead at the scene. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the official cause and manner of their deaths.
